Staceys Great Blog!!!

I haven’t written on this blog for ages as I have gone to High School and I’m not Mrs C’s grade anymore. I don’t have anything to write about so I’ll just say Hi!

The countdown has started for christmaswith 14 days togo till the 25 when santa and his reindeers will comes down the chimney with all the presents. I can’t wait till christmas morning when you wake up and santa has been and left all these presents. At the mpoment everyone is runninmg around madly getting last minute presents for family and friends.  

Everyone is starting to put up there Christmas tree and decorate there house ready to celebrate Christmas. In England it would be winter and they will be making snowmans. Everybody there likes to listen to christmas carols just like us here so click here to listen to some.
Thge Christmas holidays are3 comeing up and everyone will start to enjoy the Christmas festives and have fun seeing reletives. I hope you have a fun christmas and get lots of presents.

Victoria is a great place to live. There’s everything you need. Food, water, schools and great places to see. You could live in the city (Melbourne) or another big town or you could live in country. Victoria. Wherever you are there are great places to see.        

In country Victoria you can see Murray river, Paddle steamer’s and river trade history, Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island (Penguins, seals and more), Grampians, Wineries, Eureka stockade, Sovereign hill, Historic towns and 12 Apostles.                           

 There are great places to see in the big towns to historic buildings, Yarra River, Melbourne aquarium, Melbourne Museum, Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Zoo, Horse racing, shopping and heaps more.         

Victoria is great but compared to the rest of
Australia and the World. It is a great place to come to.

                                              This is how I spend my day. How do you spend your day?

Circus Splendida, that’s the name of the grade 5/6’s production this year. This year all of the 5/6’s were   put into 2 cast’s cast 1 and cast 2.                                                                                                       There were many places were people could act weather you were a dancer, kid, Parade person, Band member, singer, Tight rope walker, Tiny tumbler, Scooter rider, Lola the disappearing lady or one of her helpers, Hoola Hooper, Juggler, Clown, Human Sculptors, Ringmaster or Myra.

           I was a Band member playing the recorder and a Lola assistant. As a Band member I was in every act at the side of stage with some other people plying my instrument. As I played other people who were also onstage performed to the music.         There were 13 songs in total but I played in only 8 of them. I didn’t play in all of them due to myself changing into and from the Lola costume. As Lola was the 10 song I changed in the in the Human sculptors song and the Hula hoopers act so I didn’t play in those act’s. In the Lola act we danced and sang and looked really stunning thanks to a parent helper who made the dresses. After the production everyone was glad that it went so well every one worked well together and it turned out  

                                                                         FANTASIC

On the holidays my family and I went to visit some relatives in Warrugul. While we were there we fixed up the caravan which hasent been used for over 20 years. We met up with my grandfather, aunt, uncle and some of dads old friends. We had a pretty casual holiday but I was still kept really busy feeding and playing with sooty our dog, Psycho and Missy our kittens and all our chooks (theres to many to name).

We designed a treasure map at school. We had to design one and write out directions. We had to have a Legend, North Arrow, Scale and a Heading. This is how my Treasure IslandMap turned out to be.

 PERSONAL GOAL Improve my sprinting time to below J.D.S. 

So I shall

1. Eat healthy. 

 2. Sprint often.

 3. Work on my techique.

 LEARNING GOAL To get 9/10 in divisions.

So I shall

 1. Practice often.

 2. Recite twice a week.

3. Challenge myself.

I am really happy because I got into JDS with a sprinting time

 With my divsion though it wasn’t so good because we didn’t do 10 division sums a day.

Hi my name is Stacey.

 I am in grade 6 and Mrs C is my teacher this year.

I love chooks which is why I have about 100 at home.

They eat a lot which is just like me.

My favourite food is chocolate which doesn’t help much with my athletics.

I’ve made it to state many times in the relays, triple jump and cross country.

I am in a event soon and hope to get through to state in several events.
